Robotic applications for military use - Make In India Campaign

 

The School of Robotics at the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is set to enter into various interdisciplinary areas of research and development needed for the Indian Armed forces and allied defence establishments, the institute has said.

The DIAT which started in 2020 and is based at Girinagar in Pune, is an establishment of the Defence Research and Development Organisation under purview of the Ministry of Defence. Its Mechanical Engineering Department launched the ‘School of Robotics’ in mid 2020, considering the interdisciplinary requirements of the research and development in robotics.

There is no standard definition of a collaborative robot but a collaborative robot is generally understood as one that is intended to work alongside and / or directly interact with humans in a shared space. The term cobot is an abbreviation of collaborative robot.

While the idea like drone delivery was announced back in 2013 by 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙀𝙊 𝙅𝙚𝙛𝙛 𝘽𝙚𝙯𝙤𝙨 on 60 Minutes that the company was working on a driverless delivery tech, it is in 2019 that the world has seen an increase in the number of autonomous vehicle delivery services. The deliveries, for now, are carried out by either robots or cars. These autonomous delivery robots meet customers at the end of a sidewalk for the delivery. Now, new advancements have been made for the package to reach the customer’s front door.

My Engineering Project

Abstract: 

FM transmitter project allows transmission of signal from base station to receiver station. It can transmit our voice signal without any noise (disturbances). In this project the FM transmitter consists of different modules like modulator and power amplifier which generates an efficient amplified signal for transmission. The amplified signal is fed in to free space with an antenna. Here we use an aerial antenna for short range purpose. It is made from discrete bipolar junction transistors and induction coil. Continuous tuning is achieved with a variable capacitor. The designed tuning range was 88MHz to 108MHz. Its transmissions could be picked up on any common FM radio. The transmitter can transmit any types of audio like music in a 96 to 105MHz and it possesses a range of 500 meter. 

It is easy to communicate. 
In economic view, it is better.
